The Fuji Electric VC-V20A-1 switchgear is a new product that incorporates our 35 years of expertise and experience in manufacturing switchgears for overseas markets. This switchgear features a high current-carrying capacity in a compact installation space. We have obtained third-party certification of International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) standards for these switchgears, and provide them globally, focusing on the markets in Southeast Asian countries.


1) Compact design created by optimizing the insulation structure for a 20% reduction in installation area We have reduced the size of the circuit breaker and housing using electric field analysis to optimize the shape of the charging parts and insulators, and this has reduced the installation area by 20% (compared to our conventional model) and achieved the most space-saving size* in the industry.

2) Instant cooling of high-temperature, high-pressure hot gas generated during a short-circuit accident enables greater flexibility in selecting the installation location An exhaust duct is conventionally installed with a switchgear to safely route the hot gas generated in the event of a short-circuit accident to the outside of the building. With the gas cooling device installed in this product that can instantly cool the hot gas inside the panel, there is no need to route the gas to the outside of the building, allowing the installation location to be flexibly selected.

3) Stable circuit breaking performance safely protects the equipment The excellent circuit breaking performance of the vacuum circuit breaker (VCB) is the accumulation of our extensive expertise. All currents, from small currents to large short-circuit currents, are reliably interrupted to protect the safety of the equipment. In addition, the VCB exhibits stable circuit breaking performance even in the event of severe double ground faults and out-of-phase currents.

Control Center (Type:SM1200)

The Fuji SM1200 Control Center is an easy-to-use and highly safe control center built upon our exhaustive pursuit of functionality and reliability.

  • The SM1200 control center enables of 7 unit-devices in a single-face type and 14 unit-devices in a back-to-back type.
  • The horizontal bus chamber is located at the top of the cabinet. When the top cover is removed, access is obstruction-free and all sections can be easily inspected. The rated bus current is 600A to 2000A, and various types of power distribution systems are supported including three-phase three-wire type and three-phase four-wire type systems.
