DeWitteThompson, the firm’s founding partner, began his practice in 1975 after obtaining his law degree from the University of Georgia. Over his career he has litigated countless civil cases in the areas of surety law, construction and personal injury.
John D. Alexander
John Alexander was admitted to practice in Georgia in 2001 after receiving his undergraduate degree from Georgia State University, a graduate degree from the University of Mercer and his law degree from Texas Wesleyan University School of Law. John is active in all areas of the firm’s practice and appears in all trial and appellate courts in the State, focusing on surety and construction litigation.
Kelly Herrin was admitted to the Georgia bar in 1997, after receiving her law degree from the University of Georgia, where she served on the Managing Board for the Georgia Journal of International and Comparative Law. She also served as the secretary/treasurer of the Mock Trial Board.
John Alves was admitted to the Georgia bar in 2011, after receiving a law degree from Georgia State College of Law. Since his admittance to the bar, John has focused his practice on personal injury, surety, and construction law.
